Here’s a New One On Me
Did you know that Google will not allow sites with adult language to advertise with them? I didn’t know that.
If you’ll scroll down on the right, you’ll notice under my Technorati Profile, there is this loooong space under it before you get to my Google search bar. Kinda ugly, but I’ve left it there on purpose.
Google in their wisdom decided that I can’t get any advertising because I had a "bad" word in my title. Their JavaScript works really good. They like you, you get stuff to make money. They don’t like your language, you get ugly or Public Service which they don’t pay you for. Since I set my alternate color to dark blue, I get an ugly blue space. Not that I don’t believe in Public Service, I just wanna get paid for the space.
I’m leaving it there because I want to see how long it will take them to see that I’ve decided to be a good little Googler and change my title just for them. They objected by the way, for those of you just joining me, to the part of my domain name that rhymes with map, which of course I had in my Title too. The fact that they approved my account previously with it as it was apparently didn’t count. I guess they just figured I wanted to be a Public Service.
I ask you? What kinda garbage is that? Are you really telling me that there are actual human beings out there who are so totally offended by words any 10 year old uses that they will refuse to advertise with me? I DO have a disclaimer in my Blog Description to scare off the poor innocent little buggers, after all.
Ooooops! Is it ok to use "buggers"?
Corporate Garbage isn’t enough, now we get Corporate Censorship too! Ain’t life Grand?
