Corporate Crap and Other Dubious Wisdom

To all the great soldiers out there making Americans safe on this and every other Memorial Day… Thank you.

You deserve our respect… and the Gratitude of a Great and Powerful Nation.

We’ve got a buddy who is about to have his yearly  on the 30th this month, so everyone needs to go and give Andy their sympathies, the old .  Here’s hoping he gets alot of  with the Vegas Bros. on his day, however we all know what beer does…  so have a little sympathy for his wife.

No thank you to my friends would be complete without my best friend and lover  B’Tude (aka SWP). What an understanding woman.  She actually listens to my Dubious Wisdom every day, re-touches my photos to make me look good, and understands my secret crushes (Kim… can you see my eyes flash in this one?  ), and admiration for serious writers like my pal Marjo

Our BlogBuddy Becky , who has added just the right touch as a movie reviewer to MBC and our partner in the annals of the  Penguini Posse  here in Hawai`i will be leaving us for the mainland in the next few months, but of course we’re not gonna let her get too far away from our hearts and minds.  Maybe one day she can continue to spread the good word and meet up with others like Jade in Arizona, who has taken over as our excellant Music Reviewer  recently at MBC, and 3T, our other beautiful friend in the hot place.

I think our island Paradise must have gotten into Bud Buckley’s heart to because he’ll be writing for us with his own heartfelt thoughts in upcoming editions

I have to say that not much suprises me anymore, but even I can be occasionally amazed at the openess and warmth of my friends.  Since B’Tude and I have been Blogging and working on the Internet we’ve met a lot of people online.  Some of the most special of them come from right here on our island home.  Since Priss is  her butt getting back here, we’re just gonna have to visit Ma(Tutu), Kaos, Wired, and the rest of her family just as soon as we can get together for a ham flingin good time.

I also read that TickleBUg is heading back To Texas… have a safe trip TB.

Here’s to all of you my friends…, thanks for making my life better for just having all of you in it. On this Memorial Day I have special memories of all of you… as well as those who have gone before.

Oh… and to all the rest who just don’t know what Aloha really means because you just don’t know how to love… here’s to you

B’Tude and I had the pleasure of meeting up with Becky and the Buckley’s (Bud and Cathy) last night at Duke’s in Waikiki.  These two are the best and most genuine people you’d ever want to spend an evening with

Of course no party is complete without Andy’s Penguini’s stickin their little beaks in.  I think Becky’s had a hangover, but B’Tudes were up for about anything as usual.

I had to rescue one of them just as he was about to take a dive… and the direction he was headed I think he was making Becky see red.

We didn’t get to hear Bud sing in person, but they were kind enough to bring us copies of his CD along with some other goodies from Florida.

We’re gonna miss Becky when she heads off for her new life on the mainland, but we plan on getting together again before she escapes

We had a good time, and it’s always a treat to actually see the people we’ve gotten to be friends with online in person  thanks guys.

and so… yet another entry in the annals of the Penguini Posse
