Happy Thanksgiving
When life gets the best of us, and we’re too broke to pay attention, sometimes it’s hard to remember the things we’re thankful for.
I’m thankful for a beautiful daughter and granddaughter who are safe and healthy.
I’m thankful for having met wonderful friends here in Hawai`i with whom I can share my life… and grateful I met a very special man and his family who define what love and family are all about. Thank you Charley.
I am thankful that the professors at school haven’t yet figured out just how dumb I really am.
I am thankful that I get to live in a paradise with no snakes, well, at least not the long skinny ones with fangs.
I’m thankful to live in a country where we can speak our minds openly, and to those who gave their lives to make it so.
I’m thankful to all of you who have read my Dubious Wisdom over the past year, and for some reason you keep coming back.
Most of all…
I’m thankful for a Woman who loves me in spite of my…ummm… idiosyncrasies, yeah, that’s it.
