Meme This, 3T!!
Ok, ordinarily I’d flame the pants offa anyone who tagged me with a Meme, but since I love 3T, I guess I’ll have to do this one anyway
I’m supposed to choose 5 weird things about me. Hmmm… only five? I may have to call in help on this one. Ok, here goes:
- I was one of the smallest boys in Junior and Senior High school at a very large school in Kansas City, yet I played varsity football at the Quarterback position.
- I once held over a 200 bowling average, and successfully bowled in scratch leagues and tournaments for money. My daughter’s birth bill at the hospital was actually paid for with money I won a few days earlier in a league. I haven’t touched a bowling ball in over 15 years.
- Although it has somewhat lowered in the past few years, I have such a high metabolism that most drugs burn up before they can either help or affect me. Getting a tooth filled or pulled normally requires at least four shots of Novacaine… and sometimes Happy Gas as a chaser.
- I have an affinity for languages. I learned German while in Europe and was mistaken several times for German by both Americans and Germans. This has carried over to computer languages also… I am often mistaken for a geek.
- I love to sing, and can actually carry a tune in a bucket… as long as the bucket can’t hear me.
- When I can afford it, I like to buy clothes because I hate to wear the same clothes twice in the same week. Which means I also learned how to do my own laundry.
- I still open doors for others, including women who probably would rather I didn’t. For some reason I’ve never had one get angry about it because I do it out of friendship and respect.
- This isn’t the first time I’ve been called a "Rocket Scientist"… I did something similar in the military but I’d have to kill you if I told you what.
- I have been told I can be one "cold, hard SOB", yet if you’re my friend you also know I can have a heart of gold.
Ok, I’ll stop there. 3T gets four extra weirdnesses from me just because it’s her. I’m not gonna tag anyone else, but feel free to tag yourselves. In the privacy of your own homes or blogs, of course.
